Let's get to know each other

Hi, I’m Kristyn—the heart and creative eye behind Colt Farms Photography. I’m married to the most supportive man who cheers me on every step of the way, and together we’re raising two amazing sons who keep life fun, busy, and full of laughter.


When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me at Colt Farms surrounded by a crew of animals—many of them rescues I just couldn’t turn away. I have a soft spot for saving lives, whether it’s  giving a bull a  second chance, to the cats I rescued from my own neighborhood. (Yes, there are a lot of cats… each one vetted, loved, and spoiled—all thanks to a heart that refuses to give up on them.)


Photography, to me, is more than just images—it’s my superpower. I believe in the magic of freezing fleeting moments and turning them into timeless stories families can treasure forever. With a heart of gold and a camera in hand, I get to do what I love most: document memories that matter. And I think that’s pretty incredible.

I’m married to my best friend—the kind of husband who supports every dream and hypes me up in life and business daily.


I’m a proud boy mom to two incredible humans who keep me grounded, inspired, and laughing more than I ever imagined.


Colt Farms is home to a few beloved animals that have become part of our everyday life and story.


I don’t eat seafood (I know… shocking for a Florida girl).


Veuve champagne is my go-to celebratory drink—because milestones deserve bubbles.


Photography is my superpower. Turning fleeting moments into timeless stories feels like magic every single time.


Coffee is absolutely my love language. Bonus points if it’s enjoyed at sunrise on the farm.


I’m the photographer who will quietly tear up behind the camera during your vows or first look—because your story truly matters to me.


My heart lives somewhere between farm life and editorial dreaming—I love the real, the refined, and everything in between.


I’ve had the same best friend since I was 12, and loyalty like that means everything to me.
